A Question for Computer Engineers
Something died on me, luckily not a beloved human, only some fairy in that big box I call my desktop computer. It’s the one supplying all the power letting the other elves work their magic such that I can do the mundane things of life. I went out to the shop providing fairies and elves for computers, that is, I bought me a new power supply.
Removed the old one, put in the new one. This is a drag! Just four small screws but all the cables - you have to remove every single power supply cable from drives and mainboard. And then put the new ones in the right places [BTW, some of this cables are long enough to get to the next beer bar but the one combining a board and two drive plugs is shorter than Yosemite Sam’s fuse].
Why don’t you provide a pluggable cable loop?
Really, it would make life easier for all of us if we had a simple plug ‘n’ power solution.
